Our Products

Our sourdough bread is baked fresh in store everyday and is made from all natural ingredients including flour, water and salt. Sourdough is naturally leavened bread, which means that it doesn’t use the typical standardised yeast to rise. Instead it uses wild yeast and good bacteria made from a fermented flour and water mixture. This is how the tangy flavourings and slightly chewy texture is created.

Sourdough products tend to keep fresher for a longer time compared to other breads due to the PH level and the presence of antibacterial agents, which are stable and enables the prevention of unwanted yeasts and bacteria. All of our bakes have the ingredients and nutritional information listed on the packaging to ensure you know what you’re getting. We also offer a vegan alternative for all or most of our products.

Sourdough Bread Loaves

Before baking our renowned sourdough bread, we refrigerate the loaves as this slows down the proofing process, known as ‘retardation’. This also creates an added benefit of creating a richer flavoured bread. We offer a gluten free option, as well as seeded and non seeded loaves.

Seeded Sourdough Bagels

Our sourdough bagels are lovely and chewy with a golden brown crunchy exterior. We stock them with added sesame seeds for extra flavouring and texture or you can have the option of purchasing non seeded as well.

Sweet and Savoury Pies

We offer a selection of traditional sweet and savoury pies including apple, pumpkin, steak and ale, chicken leak & mushroom, cheese and onion, and pork pies. All of our savoury pies are made with flaky pastry which creates beautiful paper thin, crispy layers. We use shortcrust pastry for our sweet pies as its a sturdier base for tarts and is more cohesive than flaky pastry.

Pastries

There are a selection of pastries in store including sausage rolls, scones, pasties, croissants, pain au chocolat and pain au raisins. Our pastry doughs are made from flour, water, shortening (butter or fat), and a little salt.

At our bakery we offer some scrumptiously delicious muffins including blueberry, lemon and blueberry, chocolate chip, and double chocolate chip. Our muffins are made from flour, milk, egg, sugar, salt, shortening and baking powder.

Biscuits and Cookies

We offer some really lovely, scrumptiously fresh baked cookies and biscuits in store. Some of our most popular are double chocolate chip, oatmeal and raisin, gingerbread, shortbread, and white chocolate chip.
