Why Sourdough?
Sourdough bread contains higher levels of vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants than other breads. It also contains lower levels of phytate and therefore allows your body to absorb the nutrients it contains more easily than those in regular bread. It's packed with healthy carbs, protein, fibre and vitamins like folate and iron. It can improve digestion, lower chronic disease risk and even promote healthy ageing. This is why we love it and think you will too!
Fancy a Cuppa...?
We offer a range of tea, coffee and hot chocolate that you can enjoy to help wash down all your delicious bakes, as well as a small selection of cold refreshments. In the summer months we also have our renowned home made lemonade available.
Our Vegan Bakes
We provide a small but delicious range of vegan alternatives at our bakery that are baked off site and prepackaged before delivered to us so that there is no chance of any cross contamination from our other products. Some of our vegan products include chocolate chip cookies, brownies, flapjacks, and of course our full range of sourdough products.
Our Waste Policy
Here at Richardson’s, we care strongly about food waste and the impact it has on the world and the local community. That’s why if any of our daily freshly baked products haven’t sold by the end of the day, we donate it to charities so long as it is still edible and safe to eat.
